Playing medium pair in a 4 way plot

Image
So this hand has been bothering me a little bit. With 3 people entering the pot before me I was finding it difficult to think whether or not my 10s would be good. Being in the small blind and calling made it feel a little tricker because the big blind could have easily squeezed and pushed us all out of the pot. So, rightly or wrongly I called. BTN: 181.5 BB (VPIP: 30.77, PFR: 16.67, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 14) Hero (SB): 131 BB BB: 110.5 BB (VPIP: 0.00, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: -, Hands: 1) UTG: 134.5 BB MP: 202.5 BB (VPIP: 14.29, PFR: 14.29, 3Bet Preflop: 20.00, Hands: 7) CO: 110 BB (VPIP: 44.44, PFR: 22.22, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 9) Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has T:club: T:spade: UTG raises to 4 BB , fold , CO calls 4 BB, BTN calls 4 BB, Hero calls 3.5 BB, fold Flop: (17 BB, 4 players) 8:heart: 3:spade: 2:spade: With this flop and so many callers it was hard to think what I could do first off so the check ...

Another small pair with a draw out of position

Image
The villain is tight. Nearing 50 hands he has VP 16% and PF 13% of hands. The second villian who calls the early raise has VP 26% and we haven't yet seen him 3 bet a hand. It only costs another 2 big blinds to see the flop and the hero closes the pre-flop action. When the flop comes with an ace the hero must be a big under dog against this range. Did he play this hand right?

Is this a bad bluff OOP?

Should you 3 bet the UTG raiser in a microstakes 6 max game?  If he calls should you bluff the plot? Which flops should you bluff? The villain is an unknown to us.  We have only played 6 hands against him.

Playing suited connectors out of position

Image
Perceived wisdom certainly suggests that playing suited connectors should be reserved for late positions, ideally against multiple opponents. Certainly limping with 67s from mid position in 6 max is probably not the best idea. And when you get raised you should probably fold and cut your losses. In this hand there is certainly one player who is going to play every hand (he has put in to 97% of hands and not yet folded to a 3bet. Villain 4 has only 3 bet 11% of all hands. The equity calculations say that the raiser probablt has about 50% equity with our 67s on about 24% equity and the loosest, most passive player around with about 26% equity. Having played the loose player we know that he will make very small bets with nothing, probably call any bet with an ace in his hand, but any real big bet from him tells us that he has a big hand. If we call we need to hit the flop and then our implied odds will work for us. We've also been tight at the table, playing around 14% of ha...

Should you check or bet this flop with your small pair OOP?

6max fast microstakes 2c/5c.  Hero is dealt pocket 5s which he raises with.  Should he check or bet this flop?

How do you play pocket 6s out of position?

Image
After 51 hands the villain has stats of VP 10 and PF 8.  A real nit? His AF on the flop is 0. Wts 67% and WSD 50%.  You call his preflop raise with your pair of 6s but find yourself out of position. How do you play this hand?

Playing Paired Kings - Guess what UTG raiser has...

We love starting with a pair of Kings. But when the villian is happy to carry on calling bets with 2 Queens on the board should we be afraid that he has one of the other 2?  What is in his range: AA, KK, QQ, AK, AQ, possibly other pairs?  Has he hit a full house with his pair of 7s?
